A large global security company in the South Charlotte area is looking to add a Procurement Assistant to their Purchasing team. This will be a temp to hire role paying $16-18 an hour. This is a full time position with hours of Monday through Thursday from 8:00 - 5:30 and Friday from 8:00 - Noon. This company is well known and respected in their industry, and this position would provide a lot of opportunity for growth as they continue to expand.
- Maintain all purchasing documentation
- Monitor/Coordinate deliveries
- Coordinate return of incorrect items
- Handle customer questions/inquiries
- Assist purchasing department in all areas
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Minimum of 2 years of purchasing/buyer experience
- Proficient in Advanced Excel: pivot tables, formulas, vlookups, etc.
- Previous experience using an ERP system
- Knowledge of NC sales and use tax
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
