Talent Acquisition Speclist

Are you looking to make a huge impact with a fast paced and dynamic HR department? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We have a opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the St. Louis Park area, with a Fortune 200, international automotive parts distributor. This position will be working under the supervision of the HR Manager, and will provide full cycle recruiting support for a variety of positions. Key responsibilities include: post open positions, screens applications, arranges interviews, participates in selection process, and administers pre-employment tests. Will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Will offer $17-18 hourly depending on experience. Looking to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:
-Manage the full-cycle recruiting process
-Develop and update staffing priorities to focus on for each group
-Screen, interview, recommend, and select candidates for positions to ensure adequate staffing with a goal of hiring of the right candidates in a timely manner
-Work closely with hiring managers in the development of the recruitment and selection plan
-Work with hiring managers throughout the staffing process
-Source and staff open position and build proactive pipelines
-Develops approach to identify and source exceptional talent including but not limited to:
---Direct recruiting in the office and on the phone
---Open House gathering
---Job Fairs
---Internet Recruiting
-Execute full-cycle recruiting from sourcing, to coordinating interviews, and leading the offer process.
-Assist with on-boarding of new employees and orientation.
-Complete HR and Recruiter responsibilities and miscellaneous projects as assigned.
-Perform reference checks, background checks, and drug screening verifications
-Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Bachelor's/Associate degree preferred
1-3 years of recruiting/sourcing, or office related work
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Working knowledge of how to attract and engage potential talent: understand how to identify talent through sourcing and prescreening activities, resume mining, and networking
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build successful, trusting and productive relationships throughout the organization
Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
Detail oriented
