Sales Director

Healthcare man seeking a Director of Business Development
As an award-winning global brand and innovator of disposable safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and delivers optimal cross-contamination control and infection-prevention solutions for major Healthcare, Foodservice, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Retail, and Government organizations worldwide for the past 28 years. Our advanced PPE offerings include full lines of superior quality disposable examination, food-safe, multipurpose, and specialty work gloves; head-to-toe disposable protective apparel; face masks; plus wound care and surgical/operating room infection-control products.


The Business Development Director is primarily responsible for developing new opportunities with health systems (IDNs) and healthcare majors nationally. He or she will be expected to develop and maintain deep fluency and expertise in marketing the company and our product lines, including successfully managing clinical trials and product conversions together with the internal support team.

Responsibilities:
Development of IDN relationships within the framework of the major national GPOs.
Generate new business and expand penetration within the national Hospital and Health System market Fluency with the PPE Product category and in knowledge and application
Expertly lead key account product trials, service and relationship management as assigned, and foster highly collaborative relationships with health systems to ensure successful maintenance, retention and future growth of business
Represent the core values and quality image of in all aspects of business conduct and etiquette
Possible national sales team management and leadership responsibilities as assigned, and with track record of proven success in the role

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business or science/medical related field
5 - 10 years Business Development experience in healthcare or relevant fields
Business analysis and RFP/RFQ experience a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Seasoned corporate experience, together with "entrepreneurial" spirit; strong initiative and creativity
Experience selling into Hospitals, IDN/Health Systems, and the Healthcare GPO organizational structure
Ability to work independently while in full alignment with leadership and directives
A strategic and creative thinker, with strong capability to effectively work collaboratively and cross functionally in delivery of service excellence
Base salary commensurate with experience, plus revenue-based commission.
Up to 25% domestic travel
