Data Reconciliation Specialist

Vanguard is seeking individuals for a long-temporary temp, temporary to hire position as a Data Reconciliation Specialist. The role does have potential to transition to a permanent role based on individual performance and business volumes.
-Resolves clerical data discrepancies to shareholder accounts utilizing CINergy, Enterprise, Vast, ROM, BETA and TLM operating systems.
-Demonstrates and maintains a client centered orientation with internal and external clients by taking ownership to meet/exceed client expectations.
-Responds to client requests in a timely manner. Makes decisions that are mindful of the impact/risk to clients and Vanguard. Demonstrates a logical step-by-step approach to problem solving. Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the work.
-Maintains effective work relationships by handling peer and management interactions in a positive and cooperative manner and by keeping supervisor informed of issues impacting the team.
-Demonstrates active engagement in improving the client experience through participating in feedback sessions and process improvement discussions. Supports Vanguard Unmatchable Excellence (VUE) and actively participates in process improvement projects. Identifies improvement opportunities and works with management to implement solutions.
-Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
-Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
-Minimum two years general experience and one year industry experience.
-Demonstrated client relationship management experience.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Problem resolution and time management skills.
-Outstanding positive attitude with ability and willingness to effectively work within a team environment.
-Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume situation with time constraints and to adapt within a fluid work environment.
-Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PCs.
The pay is $20.50/hour with potential increase if placed permanently with company. You are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance after 2 weeks of working. You are eligible to sign up for a 401k plan as well.
M-F 8:00 am-4:00 pm
From December 1, 2018-April 19, 2019, schedule will be M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
