Duration: 3 months, Temp assignment (possibility for extension)
Pay Range: $48.00-$50.00 hourly
Shift/hours: 1st shift, M-Fri, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm
Location: San Jose, California 95119

Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary contact for employees seeking reasonable accommodation through the Interactive Process
Identifies opportunities for employees to use the Transitional Work Program through the disability case management process
Consults with management, employees, legal counsel and union representatives regarding HR Compliance and Disability Management regulations to ensure policies are applied accurately and consistently to meet state and federal laws, company??s policies and collective bargaining agreements
Assists in the creation of plans that promote and enforce HR compliance programs
Provides training to managers on compliance and disability related policies

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Consulting skills
Basic HR knowledge such as HR Generalist
Quick learner - ability to pick up quickly
Computer savvy - MS Office Suite (must be proficient), also this person will use HRIS systems they will be trained on as well

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
**TRAVEL REQUIRED: This person occasionally will be required to travel to Santa Clara, San Jose and Oakland. Company will pay for mileage **
**Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Human Resources, Disability Management**
**Bachelor??s Degree required**
Demonstrated experience managing cases involving the interactive process
Demonstrated through work experience content expert knowledge of state and federal disability laws to include: ADA, FEHA, FMLA, CRFA, PDL and Workers Compensation
