Healthcare Compliance Quality Assurance Representative

Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate: $ 40.00-45.00
Shift/hours: 1st shift, 40 hours per week, M-F
Location: Santa Clara, California 95051

Responsibilities:
**Prefer Health Connect and statistical analysis or epidemiology experience**
Under the direction of the Infection Prevention Manager, assists with infection prevention activities including surveillance to prevent and decrease healthcare associated infections and improve patient safety across the continuum of care
Participates in the medical center's continuous survey readiness program to maintain compliance with regulatory standard
Conducts surveillance
Collates, compiles, analyzes, and presents reports

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
**Prefer Health Connect and statistical analysis or epidemiology experience**
Microsoft Office Proficient
Being comfortable with looking up and reading patient charts
Comfortable with rounding in the hospital
Knowledge of quality improvement, statistical analysis, accreditation and licensing

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
**Prefer Health Connect and statistical analysis or epidemiology experience**
Bachelor??s degree
Extensive experience in a healthcare organization
Being comfortable with looking up and reading patient charts
Comfortable with rounding in the hospital
Knowledge of quality improvement, statistical analysis, accreditation and licensing
Preferred:
Current knowledge of The Joint Commission, Title 22 and NCQA preferred
Healthcare experience in the areas of legal, risk, and regulatory areas
