Call Center Representative Inbound
Job Summary: A large client in the Banking and Mortgage industry located in Troy, MI is seeking 20 Customer Service Representatives for their next training class to start 12/17. The main responsibilities of this role will include answering inbound telephone calls from customers regarding questions and issues in their loans, creating detailed documentation to ensure inquiries are handled accurately, and cross-selling basic products and services. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, must be able to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:00am-9:00pm, M-F, with 2 Saturdays per month, $14/hr.
-Responsible for inbound calls from lending customers regarding questions and issues on their loans (payment information, online support, payment options, document questions).
-Creating detailed documentation to ensure inquiries are handled accurately.
-Educating customers about basic products and services to generate additional revenue.
-Using problem solving skills to identify and communicate appropriate solutions to customers.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
-Understanding of MS Office Suite with intermediate computer skills.
-Ability to navigate quickly within various computer programs.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to handle a high call volume and answer customer questions in a timely manner.
-1-3 years of customer service, mortgage industry, or call center experience.
-Mortage industry experience is preferred but not required.
-HS Diploma or GED required.
