HR Administrative Assistant
Ensure all HR visitors are greeted and helps identify their business in HR. Establish procedures for accessing the HR department and team.
Coordinate HR department 5S initiatives and drives HR cleanliness and organization
Coordinate intra-departmental mail distribution, including garnishments, data stamp as appropriate
Support new hire process and orientation. Coordinate documents, verify for accuracy, follow-up to ensure data accuracy and create folders, etc. and file.
Update the online employee home page
Coordinate office supplies, HR budgeted purchases, maintain updated HR daily activity calendar and support employee uniform distribution and recovery
Support creation of Employee Relations files, enter information into AWSI for background checks and screens and track returned information
Support Workers Compensation administration including the Transitional Work program
Maintain and update workforce data; keep records of the legal status of employees
Generate headcount reports as needed and other relevant reports as necessary
Coordinate requests from external organizations and communicate with appropriate HR department team member
Assist the Human Resources Manager with other related tasks
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Relevant experience preferred; previous experience in HR desired
Good command of written and spoken English required
General knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems preferred
Excellent working knowledge and skills related to administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Experience: Administrative assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
