Now hiring a HR Generalist to provide support for the NY headquarter location for a top logistics and manufacturing company! You will also provide support to other satellite offices and report to the Director of HR.
This is a great temp to hire opportunity!
-Manage entire recruitment process including onboarding, workers compensation, coaching and discipline, and competency assessment.
-Maintain knowledge of current HR and benefit trends, laws, policies, and government compliance.
-Manage employee relations; conduct investigations on matters escalated to you.
-Coordinate annual merit and employee evaluation process
-Additional duties as required
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
-Must be a team player.
-Must be able to deal with highly sensitive information.
-The ideal candidate will have outstanding analytic abilities and will be a strong relationship builder.
-A roll-up your sleeves type of mentality will go a long way in this role.
-High energy and strong communication skills required.
-Completed Bachelor's Degree and/or professional certification required.
-Experience in a customer service/ logistics environment is preferred.
-3+ years of HR generalist experience required; in a logistics environment preferred.
