Customer Service Representative

Looking for a motivated and energetic Technical Sales Administrator to help drive our growing business in nanotechnology tools.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in the physical sciences and 1-2 years' experience in sales or sales administration. The candidate should be highly motivated, highly organized, with an ability to learn and understand our technology.

Good interpersonal skills are a must for interactions both externally and internally, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
*Generate additional sales by increasing our capacity to respond to customer sales inquiries and giving the National Sales Manager more time to get out of the office and work with the Territory Managers to close more business.

*Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with OEM??s, current customers and prospective customers at all levels

*Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff in all functions of the business; etc.:
-Territory sales managers
-Sales administration
-Accounts payable and receivable
-Logistics
-Manufacturing
-NPI
-Customer Service.

*Capable of handling paperwork required for order entry, including ability to research archival files to gather needed information.

*Demonstrate and maintain high-level scientific and technical knowledge of our products, new product developments and awareness of competitors' products.

*Able to write effective bid/RFP proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.

*Capable of reviewing quotes and orders for technical accuracy.

*Manage demo inventory and equipment at demo sites, locally and remote to keep these updated and tracked:
-Work with applications and service group to maintain and move as required.
-Provide assistance planning demo equipment for trade shows.

*Become highly proficient in CRM and be able to generate Sales KPI reports both for Americas and the UK.

Provide back-up to field sales team and sales management team as needed, may require occasional travel

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Bachelors

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
*Bachelor??s degree (or higher) in a science or engineering discipline

*Knowledge of electron microscopy a plus.

*Effective organizational skills.

*Effective English language skills required, foreign language skills a plus.

*Good team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

*Solid work ethic.

*Good interpersonal skills plus a comfort level to be comfortable working in an environment speaking to customers over the phone and in person.

*Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

*Experience working with a CRM database programs preferred.
