Administrative Assistant Intermediate level

A Management Company is looking for experienced Administrative Assistants in Freeport, NY

Responsibilities:
Cold call HVAC vendors to introduce or potential hire as contractors (not sales or commission-based),
* Follow up for new vendors' documentation and ensure new retail site surveys are conducted and results submitted to Company
* Update post-construction surveys (after new HVAC units are replaced) in company's proprietary system,
* Input new store sites, as necessary, and assign them to primary and back-up vendors in the area for service calls in system, and vice versa.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Excellent telephone communication skills in an office setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and make sound decisions
Use proper discretion in evaluating/elevating customer issues
Good defusing techniques for difficult situations
Passion for delivering great customer service
Excellent work history/ job longevity (2+ or more years in each position is ideal)

Education:
High School

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
High School Diploma
At least 2 years previous experience in Account Management or Customer Service
Experience with Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel and Word.


Must also be available to work any of the following shift times.

Peak Season
Standard Mon-Fri 8-5pm or 9-6pm
Weekday Late Shift 11am-8pm, (2x per month)
Weekend Shifts 12pm-9pm, 3pm-9pm (2x per month)

Non-Peak Season:
Standard Mon-Fri 8-5pm or 9-6pm/ Mon-Fri 12pm-9pm
Weekday Late Shift 11am-8pm, (1-2 per month)
Weekend Shifts 9am-6pm (sun) 11am-9pm( sat), 3pm-9pm (Could result in Monday or Friday off)
