Human Resources Assistant

Our client, an engineering firm, is looking for a permanent Human Resources Coordinator who will assist members of the Human Resources team with functions relating to Benefits, Onboarding, HR Metrics, Recruitment, and general administrative support. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree who majored in Human Resource Management or a related subject to gain broad exposure to a corporate HR department. The permanent role pays between $23-25/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:
-Onboarding: Setting up drug and background screenings, Mailing welcome cards to new hires, Assist Administrative Supervisor with Orientation (preparing packets, scheduling tours for new hires, etc.)
-HR Metrics and Analytics: Assist HR Staff with reporting functions related to recruitment, benefits, retention, and other areas, Compile data and identify trends/issues, Pull data from HRIS and assist in analyzing results
-Recruitment Support: Assist Recruiter with coordination of interviews, including phone and in-person scheduling, as well as travel itinerary when necessary, Generate offer letters and other new hire paperwork, under the guidance of Recruiter, Assist with the onboarding of temporary agency staff, including compiling, reviewing and collecting policies
-Support Recruiter with Summer Internship Program logistics: Benefits Administration, Assist employees with enrolling and understanding the various benefit plans, Process enrollments in the UltiPro system and coordinate with benefit vendors, Coordinate with payroll on bi-weekly deductions, Review monthly invoices for accuracy
-General Human Resources Administrative Support: Manage paperwork for internal changes, such as Promotion Letters, Change in Status Forms, and other documentation, Assist HR team with uploading employee documents into HRIS

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Proficiency in computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Have understanding of Human Resources practices

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
Entry Level

Qualifications:
-Bachelor???s degree program majoring in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related business area of study
-1-3 years of experience within HR
