Legal Administrative Assistant for Large Entertainment Studio

We're hiring an Administrative Assistant to join the team for a large Entertainment Studio in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate for this position will thrive in a dynamic high-energy environment and is organized, resourceful, and a good problem solver.

As an Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will be both administrative and substantive (i.e., drafting deal terms, revising documents, taking notes on negotiation phone calls, etc.). You will help maintain complex schedules, prepare reports, presentations and prepare for meetings. You will also maintain office equipment and supplies. Microsoft Excel, Word, and power point skills will be critical to the success of this role.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

--Maintains and administers filing system and information relating to the status of agreements, including keeping status charts and coordinating the information with other internal departments and external stakeholders.
--Answers calls, sends emails/faxes, and assists in distribution of agreements/documentation to executives on a regular basis.
--Schedules meetings and conference calls, creates meeting agendas and circulates meeting materials, manages expense reports, and arranges mail, messenger and packages.
--Under supervision and direction of executives, drafts contracts based on closed deal terms.
--Drafts routine letters and other correspondence, and reviews and edits prepared documents for formatting and accuracy.
--Deliver agreements for execution by parties and assist in monitoring dates of legal significance (e.g., options and expirations)
--Update contract binders and distributing to various executives.



- Previous administrative experience supporting a mid-sized company.
- Studio experience
- Experience in a Business and/or Legal department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly with outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Effective at planning, organization, and time management.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently.
- Confidence working with all levels of internal and external contacts.
