Call Center Representative Inbound - Customer Service

We are currently seeking several candidates for a consumer service specialist role with a company in the healthcare industry. This position requires individuals that have prior experience in customer service and have preferably worked with customers over the phone.
As a Customer Service Representative you will answer incoming calls, emails and messages from customers for consumers seeking health care coverage. In addition, you will document information into a client system to track customer interactions and solutions. We are a metric driven team and expect our teams to reach daily activity and quality goals. Top performing individuals and teams are recognized every day for their efforts.
*Provide assistance to consumers seeking health care coverage including providing information on financial assistance programs and public health care programs
*Process applications for health care coverage via the telephone including building tax household, household income, eligibility determinations, and interpreting of determinations
*Processing of life events and special enrollment periods
*Assist Brokers and Navigators with inquiries and eligibility and enrollment issues as appropriate
*Assist customers including prospective enrollees and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf
*Support, resolve inquires, and educate callers
Working hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
-Capable of speaking over the phone in a professional manner
-Proficient typing skills
-Service orientation - high commitment to meeting needs of customers and colleagues
-Professional communication skills both written and verbal
-Ability to provide effective resolution to customer complaints
-Strong analytical and decision making skills
-Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple top priorities
*Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND/OR previous experience in customer service
*Preferable experience in a Call Center, human services, health care or service-related field.
