This position supports the execution of marketing programs on behalf of the sponsors of Mass Save. The eight sponsors of Mass Save work collaboratively on statewide marketing campaigns. We work with multiple advertising, PR, web and marketing agencies to develop thoughtful advertising campaigns that promote the good work our companies do for residential, business and municipal customers. This newly created position, Marketing Specialist, Statewide Marketing will work with many groups to achieve success. The position reports to Statewide Marketing, a committee of marketing leaders from each energy efficiency provider. The Marketing Specialist will attend statewide meetings, be the point of contact for all agencies, review marketing campaigns, advise on brand guidelines, and more. The Marketing Specialist will ensure consistency with business branding and objectives and execute projects based on our Brand Guidelines. The specialist will be detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be both a team player and individual contributor. ?? Program Strategist: for special initiatives, programs and projects: leads, with the committee??s guidance, the creation and execution of advertising assets; radio, print, digital, etc. Analyzes research and measurement of campaigns and programs, communicates results and recommends improvements and/or adjustments.
?? Public Relations Strategist: manages the external PR agency, leads the weekly PR initiatives, main point of contact for all internal PR requests, meetings and initiatives.
?? Events and Sponsorships: thoughtfully reviews event sponsorships, speaking opportunities, white paper creation, award submissions and more.
?? Event Strategist: reviews, recommends, and plans strategic event opportunities
?? Maintains monthly, quarterly and annual marketing departmental advertising calendars and budgets
?? Coordinates with internal and external copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, and other vendors as needed.
?? Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate
?? Travels approximately 40% of time to sponsor offices, offsite meetings and on occasion events outside of the service territory.Create and maintain training schedules
?? Track and maintain training participation records
?? Familiarity with media equipment ?? projectors, smart boards, etc.
?? Coordinate facility logistics (securing rooms, equipment, set up, refreshments, etc.)
?? Monitor training registration/completions
?? Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (if possible)
?? Support Role Mapping activities
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Bachelor??s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or Business
5+ years marketing experience
Work includes managing multiple priorities with often fast turnaround times and changing budgets. Requires diverse skill sets, including vendor management, customer service, financial analysis, database operation and marketing.
