Customer Service/Call Center

Well Randstad has an opportunity for you! We are currently looking for for experienced call center candidates to fill our positions at a great logistics company. This is a temp to perm position!

On typical day/week you would be responsible for:

--Recognizing and resolving documentation errors
--Assisting customers via phone and email with inquiries
--Performing general clerical duties as assigned, including: answering and directing phone calls, and data entry
--Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

--Understands basic administrative functions of Customer Service area
--Able to handle routine customer calls and appropriately escalates complex issues to the next level of management
--Maintains training and knowledge of customer policies regarding all aspects of product movement.
--Must be able to research customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
--Maintain records of all customer interactions and transactions to include all inquires, comments, complaints and resolution decisions
--Communicating courteously with customers by telephone
--Investigating and solving customers' problems
--Able to articulate clearly with peers and managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service provided
--Strong problem solving ability in order to provide clear resolution to issues
--Support achieving customer metrics and goals
--Document call information according to standard operating procedures
--Complete call logs
--Awareness and understanding of customer key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance to those KPIs

Working hours: 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM

--Strong negotiation and influencing skills
--Self-directed and good problem solving skills
--Outstanding organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and ability to multi-task
--Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
--Strong verbal communication skills
--Previous experience in transportation is preferred
--Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite applications

--Previous call center experience
--Excellent computer, typing and 10-key skills
--Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
--Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--Flexible schedule
