Randstad is currently hiring for an accounting clerk to assist a company in the Birmingham metro area with invoicing, accounts payables and receivables.
Enter and balance A/R and A/P on a daily basis
Help to prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Assist with assembling financial data for audits
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department as needed
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Excellent communication and administrative skills
Data entry and word processing skills
Ability to meet all assignment deadlines
Experience with bank reconciliation and tracking credit card transactions
2+ years of accounting experience is required
Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
Validated Excel proficiency
