Benefits Coordinator

Our client in Marlborough, MA is hiring for a Benefits Coordinator or their growing Manufacturing and Production facility. This role will be a heavy focus on benefits enrollment, FMLA, and short term leave functions as well keeping up to date on employment law.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Manage the Company benefit programs on a daily basis to ensure vendors are providing accurate and timely customer service.
Answer questions concerning all benefit programs, enrollment and eligibility issues, including contacting insurance vendors as needed.
Ensure that benefit files are transmitted to appropriate vendors in a timely manner.
Oversee the leave management process, including monitoring vacation and sick time, Family Medical Leave and personal leaves of absence.
Process requests for information from governmental agencies and others related to employee benefits.
Provide recommendations for Company service and recognition programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Minimum of two years experience in insurance or Company benefits.
Benefits Administration: 1-2 years (Required)
Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to benefits.
