Director of Revenue Cycle
We have a client that is a Pediatric Healthcare Organization that is currently looking for a Director of Revenue Cycle for their Marietta Office. This is a fast-growing organization with locations throughout the Southeastern and Southwestern United States. This individual will be integral in improving Revenue Cycle processes ti allow the company to continue their growth and service more patients! Directing the management of coding, billing, collections, document management, medical records, prior authorization and referrals, call center, scheduling center and front office registration workflow and process throughout the organization, in support of the physicians and patients of this client.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Recommend modifications to existing Revenue Cycle programs.
Supervisory responsibilities: Manage subordinate managers and supervisors. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintain a customer service focus across the department.
Evaluate workflow processes, make recommendations for change and implement change.
Monitor industry standards and maintain and develop related policies.
Establish and monitor high level of customer service standards for staff and the AR coding and billing process.
Manage monthly/weekly reports which monitor collection and billings for Patient Accounts.
Set and monitor production standards for staff.
Manage and monitor effectiveness of patient collections of co-pays and other A/R in individual clinic sites, write-offs, collection issues and other related responsibilities as required in the management of AR and collections. Make necessary workflow and process changes to address such issues as they arise.
Manage and monitor effectiveness of coding and reimbursement process.
Manage and approve accurate patient refunds based on state and federal rules.
Develop departmental budgets and manage expenditures to that budget.
Provide billing and production reports as needed.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all other CBO Directors, Managers and Clinic Managers.
Maintain strictest confidentiality.
Attend meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned.
10-15 years of managerial health care experience in Revenue Cycle, including coding, reimbursement, patient billing, physician scheduling and front office registration. Experience in EPIC preferred.
