Administrative Assistant Entry level
Randstad in partnership with The Hanover Insurance Group are actively hiring an Administrative Assistant to join their AIX Group on a temp to hire basis in Windsor, CT. Under direct supervision, this individual works from a variety of established procedures to provide administrative support to the respective business unit. Duties and tasks are varied but standardized and may be of a confidential nature. At times performs some advanced functions. Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

-Starting Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour; depending on level of experience.
-Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm; averaging 38.75 hours/week.

-Provides direct support to the business unit operations manager; assists senior leadership and provides front office support as needed.
-Manages daily office functions including, but not limited to telephone support, ordering office supplies, filing, maintaining data files including basic Excel spreadsheet work, preparing outgoing mail and correspondence.
Key Measures of Success:
-Deliver a superior level of administrative support while maintaining a customer service focus in support of a department.
-Enable leadership, management and staff to focus on delivery of key business priorities by reducing their administrative tasks.
-Collaborate with others in the department in streamlining operational and administrative processes to be more effective across the organization.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
-Working knowledge of insurance, property, forms, terminology, other related insurance experience a plus.
-Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
-Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
-Ability to confidently communicate and partner with operations manager and senior leadership team members.
-Must be a polished candidate with an energetic personality and eagerness to learn the industry.
-Associates Degree preferred
-One to two years plus years of related secretarial or administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
