Valve Inside Sales representative
Looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking currently working with a client in the SW Houston area, seeking a new member to join their team!
It is highly important for this candidate to have a clear understanding of the valve industry and a fluent Spanish/English speaker.

Responsible for maintaining an open communication line with employees, customers, and vendors, while maintaining proper confidentiality, to ensure proper handling of all inside sales issues that may arise.
Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
Responsible for maintaining all records and files associated with inside sales as instructed by the sales manager.
Responsible for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
Responsible for self-evaluation in an effort to meet sales goals and responsibilities.
Responsible for maintaining an awareness of developments in the inside sales field that relate to job responsibilities and integrating them into own practices.
Develops, prepares, and monitors quote activities and prepares weekly reports for management.
Enters quotations and sales order into ERP system
Prepares and presents reports in sales meetings and training presentations for Lunch-N-Learns.
Reviews customer PO??s for accuracy and compliance to quote.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries and trade shows.
Builds and maintains customer and interoffice relationships by maintain an open communication line with customers, co-workers, and vendors, while maintaining professionalism and proper confidentiality, to ensure proper handling of all project issues that may arise.
Assist other departments in resolving problems related to project orders.
Participates in peer training for new hires.
Maintain ownership of orders from beginning to end, overseeing all aspects of order management, with the assistance of project support, until payment received.
Makes outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
Travels to and attends trade shows, as needed.
Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required by management.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Strong communication skills- ideal candidate must be comfortable and able to communicate in an effective manner.
Excellent customer service and must be able to handle customer objections and risk mitigation.
Must be able to build and maintain customer relationships.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or two to three years?? experience in the valve industry.
