Mail Clerk
Mailroom clerks work in a controlled environment to distribute mail that comes in and out. They may sort mail by hand, or use a variety of mail sorting machines, depending on the volume and type of mail they have to deal with. Date stamp all incoming mail. Will be required to sort mail, such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments to be processed into the proper bins as needed. Complete incorrect returned mail. Receive outgoing mail and apply correct postage. Mail Clerk for client facility duties would include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
?? Receive, process, and screen all mail coming in.
?? Distribute Newspapers & Magazines.
?? Distribute & pick up mail throughout the building from mail stops and individuals.
?? Data entry.
?? Assist the client with mail shipments (individual or bulk)
?? Use software & equipment (Mail Metering System, Accountable Mail Scanners, Microsoft Office, Filing and Archiving, File maintenance and record retention etc.)
?? Other duties as required by the client
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
High school diploma
Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel
Must be able to lift 20 pounds
Good communication and organization skills
