Commercial Lines Manager

Responsibilities:
This position will assist in the leadership of the team, including the development of the team members and overall team; and assist in the overall department success.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Maintain employee files as noted by agency manual, including annual reviews.
Maintain standards and policies addressed in the employee handbook
Assist in writing and implementing standard procedures for department workflow and business protocol
Address service and coverage issues with Companies, other departments and Vendors
Manage Workflow and adjustments to meet requirements of high level of customer service and department efficiencies, within their team
Discuss topics of concern with team members, with management as needed
Direct and mentor Account Executives, Account Managers and CSRs
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Train and develop associates within the team
Coordinate with other team leaders for consistency, efficiency and productivity

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
Manager

Qualifications:
Requires 10 or more years of insurance experience and ten years of management experience
Ability to work Independently and within a team
Property & Casualty License REQUIRED!
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with employees, customers and underwriters
Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
Takes initiative and displays a sense of urgency
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
