Our office is currently seeking an Account Executive in the Charlotte, 28269 area for a leading transportation and logistics provider offering less-than-truckload, over-the-road truckload, and intermodal services. Working as an Account Executive, you will be in charge of developing and retaining business in the assigned region.
Salary- 60,000 annual base, plus commission opportunity
Hours- Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with the opportunity to work remotely
-Develops business through proactive prospecting such as cold calls, and scheduling appointments
-Create weekly sales reports and account profiles as needed
-Building and maintaining relationships with customer accounts
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
--Excellent sales skills
--Must be proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
--Knowledge of Haz Mat regulations a plus, but not required
-Bachelor???s degree required
-Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success (previous experience in the transportation and logistics field a plus but not required)
-Must possess a current valid driver???s license
