Our client it looking to fill a role for a customer service representative (CSR) in Fremont, CA!

An ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of customer service experience along with a demonstrated aptitude for mechanical, scientific or electronic products in previous roles or as a hobby. This role will require you to learn about the industry and product line so you may best advise clients on the technical product specs that will meet their needs.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to be interested in learning and gaining understanding of a line of products used in a wide variety of industrial applications in order to be able to assist customers. Attention to detail and a pleasant customer oriented demeanor is crucial for this role.

Job Details:
Customer Service Representative (CSR) -Technical
Direct Hire
Working Hours- M-F 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PM
Fremont, CA
Starting pay- $24-25 per hour D.O.E.

-Assist customers with incoming inquiries via phone, web, chat, email, Etc.
-Provide product ordering support
-Electronically enter sales orders into system with high attention to detail
-Meet weekly requirements for levels of orders and product quotes
-Maintain and update customer data base
-Provide customer service support as well as support as well as production and collections support
-Secure incoming orders through effectively communication and follow up
-Escalate advanced customer needs to proper personnel
-Other related duties as required

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Excellent and personable communication skills
Computer literacy and detail oriented data entry skills
Interest in learning technical details of product and industry
Interest in developing solid business relationships with customers
Technical aptitude
Integrity, empathy and active listening skills are required

High School


2-3 or more years of experience as a customer service representative in a technical, manufacturing or related field
High School Diploma Required
Some college, AA, B.A, Technical or Science degree preferred
