International Coordinator III

Creates shipping and customs documentation. Coordinates international orders with customers, carriers, and international departments; determines customer delivery needs. Performs analysis and research on semi-autonomous basis.

Responsibilities:
??? Prepares accurate and complete export documentation, including, but not limited to, Commercial Invoice, North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Certificate of Origin, Shipper???s Export Declaration, Canadian Customs Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Master Bill of Lading, Shipper???s Letter of Instruction, and others as required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of needed documentation.
??? Monitors and tracks import shipments to ensure on time, complete, and damage-free deliveries. Updates import and export cost spreadsheets to track transportation spend against budget. Updates import customs/record retention spreadsheet utilized for import record retention requirements.
??? Provides back-up clerical and coordinator support for other Coordinators and Clerk.
??? Creates and verifies moderately difficult transactions to ensure accurate database information.
??? Creates moderately difficult Letter of Credit documentation to ensure accurate and timely documentation. Utilizes knowledge of Uniform Customs & Practice (UCP) 500 to coordinate Letters of Credit.
??? Coordinates and arranges for expedited deliveries with approved carriers to support requests made by Customer Service department. Obtains Proof of Delivery (POD) for customers, Invoicing, and Customer Service.
??? Tracks export orders to ensure on time, complete, and damage-free deliveries.
??? Outlines and maintains departmental and standard work procedures for regions assigned to ensure consistency throughout department.
??? Handles department routing and scheduling on semi-autonomous basis.
??? Utilizes personal computer (PC) and keyboard/mouse to collect, verify, and enter data into systems. Performs clerical functions, such as filing and other clerical tasks, to support department processes.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Knowledge of computer systems (customer order entry, shipping and word processing software) strongly desired.
- Basic understanding of international trade terms, including, but not limited to, International Commercialization Terms of Sale (INCOTERMS), Export Administration Regulations, and industry terminology and acronyms.
- Basic knowledge of all modes of international transport utilized to coordinate shipments.

Qualifications:
Education
??? Associate???s degree in business or finance OR four years job-specific experience.

Work Experience
??? Three years experience in international business environment.


??? Strong interpersonal; math; and communication, both written and verbal, skills required.
??? Knowledge of metric system to create international documentation.
??? Strong knowledge of world geography preferred.
??? PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
