Demand Planner

Our pharmaceutical client is seeking a Supply Chain manager for their fast-growing company! Great benefits, PTO, and 401k with company match!

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading an upgrade in the overall supply chain management space primarily led by the introduction of the newly formed S&OP process and the support activities of Supply and Demand planning. In addition, commercialization of new products into the portfolio and end-of-life planning for discontinuations will be a large focus of this role. Inventory optimization and warehouse planning / strategy will be developed and led to stay aligned to the S&OP.

Responsibilities:
-Assumes responsibility for the development, implementation of Supply Chain Management performance.
-Works closely with the COO and across the organization, particularly manufacturing, to develop and lead the proper supply chain management processes, priorities and structure to assure performance
-Executes established goals and builds to high performance levels the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process recently started and ensures forward plans across the involved functions
-Sets Inventory and replenishment strategy to optimize Inventory for high order fill rates and minimum stock outs for this high margin business with the minimum inventory necessary to achieve this goal.
-Participates in Portfolio / NPI process and aligns the industrialization ramp plans for all New Product Introductions (NPI) to assure expected supply available by launch dates and helps drive successful new product launch from a product availability perspective.
-Runs the Demand review meetings unless suitable Demand planner in place but leads the SME??s to discuss their demand and specific findings
-Assumes responsibility for Inventory and warehouse management

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
-Excellent understanding Supply Chain principles and S&OP
-Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
-Stays informed of trends and changes in the Supply Chain field.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
Manager

Qualifications:
-College degree in engineering, supply chain or related field or equivalent experience
-Experience planning in Pharma or CPG operations, Demand and Supply
-Strong understanding of Inventory, Warehousing and New Product Planning
-10+ years relevant experience leading supply chain management process at Cosmetic or CPG organizations
