Data Entry Operator

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will input/encode information from a variety of sources into multiple databases using an alphanumeric keyboard. You will have daily goals for speed and accuracy and will be recognized for your achievements.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Encoding data in company databases, using keyboards or scanners
Compiling, sorting and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered
Comparing data with source files or re-entering data in verification format to detect errors
Storing completed documents in appropriate locations
Locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a Data-Entry role is preferred
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel
Average typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
Accuracy and high attention to detail
Excellent time management skills and sense of urgency
Ability to effectively follow directions
