Budget Manager- Marketing

**Due to Covid-19 this role will begin as remote**
The Marketing Budget & Budget Operations team is hiring. Be a part of a tight, fast moving team and help manage the marketing budget for a publicly held billion-dollar tech company. Partner with budget team members, marketers, marketing budget owners, finance, procurement, accounting and accounts payable teams from across the globe to move at the speed of SAAS!

This critical team member coordinates operational activities related to marketing spend by serving as a budget partner to assigned marketing teams. ??? Pre-screen contracts and submit to Procurement for review and signature
??? Review purchase requests for accuracy/completeness of information and create a high volume of purchase orders using NetSuite
??? Drive purchase orders through the approval process by partnering with Marketing, Procurement and Finance
??? Ensure timely return of contracts and POs to marketers/vendors for campaigns to go live
??? Provide reporting of pending and approved POs, invoices received against those POs with comparison to budget targets
??? Work with vendors to track down past due invoices
??? Serve as a liaison with US and International accounts payable teams and facilitate resolution of invoice issues
??? Experience working with spreadsheets; reconciliation of invoices from vendors to budget
??? Must be able to take detailed notes & organize them into proper form, either for distribution to team or into formal correspondence
??? Train new Marketing team members on the overall budget management process including all tools, forms, end-to-end process
??? Pitch in on special projects and cover for other budget-team members as needed
??? Be a forward thinker - identify opportunities to improve processes that drive accuracy and efficiency
??? Assist with month end close process with end goal of providing accurate accruals to accounting

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

*Proficient with Microsoft Excel
*Prior experience with NetSuite and Allocadia



??? BA/BS degree
??? 2-5 years of experience; Accounting/Finance background a plus
??? Self-driven, get-it-done personality
??? High attention to detail
??? Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to tailor communication based on audience is a must
??? Ability to manage schedules and adapt for reprioritization of business needs
??? Strong problem-solving skills
??? Exceptional people skills
??? Comfortable working with Excel and formatting data for various stakeholders
