Operations Assistant

Do you have experience in financial industry? Do you have solid organizational and time management skills? Are you self-motivated, team oriented and willing to juggle multiple tasks at once? Then I have the opportunity for you! A financial organization in Catonsville is searching for a direct hire (permanent) Operations Assistant to join their team. The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
- Provide support to financial advisors and clients
- Support the Director of Operations to ensure consistent and efficient workflow
- Foster a positive client experience while assisting clients over the phone, through email and in face to face meetings
- Daily management of reporting and the remote check deposit process
- Organize, process and track detailed assignments & tasks
- Weekly analyze negative balance reports and high cash value reports
- Prepare and maintain documents & reports for annual compliance review
- Work with financial advisors to prepare financial reports for client meetings

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Ability to work together as a team to achieve goals consistent with the organization's strategic plan
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexible, self-starter
- Able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented
- Excellent follow up skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
- Bachelor???s Degree required
- 3 - 5 years of operations and administrative experience within the financial services or asset management industry
- Knowledgeable of best-practices in finance and compliance
- Proven experience managing quality and content of financial and accounting data/reporting
- Candidate will be subject to a credit and background check if given offer
