Practice Administrator- Patient Contact
The city's largest medical institute is immediately seeking a Practice Administrator. The Practice Administrator is responsible for the medical practice management and operation of hospital and/or community based outpatient based practice. The Practice Administrator directs and supervises the day-to-day functions of assigned clinic and is responsible for carrying out all established policies.
This is a full-time, 40hr/week, temp-to-perm opportunity. This position is located downtown Atlanta, Ga and seeks to start immediately. Qualified candidates should be immediately available for phone screening and subsequent virtual interviews.
In conjunction with the Medical Director and clinical leadership, develops tracks and improves upon selected clinical quality indicators and metrics. Manages one or more generally homogeneous teams to help identify and achieve plans; responsible for conducting performance appraisals, pay actions, hiring and terminations within a functional unit.
Focuses on and improves the overall patient experience; Interviews, hires, manages, leads and inspires the clinical, support and administrative staff of the clinic. Develops an environment and welcoming culture where staff is eager to come to work. Must be comfortable working in a matrix environment where certain members of the operation do not directly report to the PA position.
Maintains staffing levels in line with productivity targets and other expenses within budget. Ensures all appropriate revenue is captured for patient visits and encounters. Improves operational efficiencies to increase opportunities for additional patient volumes and introduce opportunities for new clinical programs or systems that increase patient access and volumes. Ensures program meets all regulatory requirements (CMS, TJC, HIPPA, DCH, etc. ) Develops and oversees implementation and administration of internal practice policies and procedure in conjunction with Medical Director and standard policies and procedures. Interprets applicable laws, rules and regulations and ensures the practice is in compliance with same.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Candidate should have prior experience in working in a healthcare environment; managing associates who supports the front office needs of a medical facility.
