Reporting to the Director of Product and Channel Marketing, the Marketing Analyst will execute
analysis from internal and external data sources to help drive data-driven decision making.
The successful candidate will lead internal and external data management relationships and will
need to liaise with senior level staff across functions of the organization. The candidate will
glean meaningful insights that cross-functional partners in Sales, Demand Planning, Product
Management and Marketing can act upon to improve our business operations, product
development and ultimately our financial results.
Business Strategy Leader for the Company???s database and analytics platform.
Interprets data and analyzes results in order to provide ongoing reports.
Owns all aspects of market research, including both qualitative and quantitative
methodologies and analyses.
Regularly engages the executive leadership to deliver customer insights that guide
strategic decision making.
Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data
Leads vendor relationships, develop and maintain successful vendor deliverables, focused
on continuous data management and capabilities assessment.
Serves as a knowledge leader, using structured problem solving to craft and execute
thoughtful insights and agendas.
Works closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Executive leadership teams to ensure
strategies and tactics influence and build on the broader marketing strategies and tactics.
Provides customer level data analysis to aid in sales strategies and forecasting efforts.
Develops and maintains overall market size, share and trend analysis by product category
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Demonstrable experience using database queries.
Expert functional use of Microsoft Excel required.
Analytical and quantitative skills along with data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and
articulate highest impact initiatives.
Exceptional ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic
Project management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to partner well cross-functionally and build great relationships, collaborative
Must have drive towards innovation and continuous improvement.
Willingness to learn about and work within the firearms industry.
Bachelor???s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or
another related field required; OR equivalent combination of education and industry
Minimum 2 years of experience in Market Research, Business Analysis, and Database
