Contribute and utilize the preventive maintenance program
Understanding of general and maintenance safe work practices such as LOTO, Hot Work, Electrical Safety, PPE etc.
Must be able to analyze mechanical and operational problems to make corrections.
Ability to troubleshoot all production equipment, and assist in layout and installation of equipment
Performs related duties as assigned by as Maintenance Manager
Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
Support and provide leadership with plant and facility maintenance need
General building maintenance, plumbing and assigned equipment repairs and installations as required by the situation in a timely and workmanlike fashion.
Inspects assigned building spaces to identify and correct general maintenance deficiencies that are within the employee's capabilities and reports those that are not to prevent facility deficiencies from adversely impacting building occupants
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Install new machinery and/or equipment by installing utilities to and between machines and equipment using hand and power tools and test equipment
Repair electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixture and determining faulty wiring. Handle inspecting and testing malfunctioning machinery
Repair and replace faulty electrical components by using testing equipment and hand tools to install relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and position-sensing devices
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, GMP and safety standards; ensure adherence SQF and other relevant standards
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Good general knowledge of machinery and equipment (e.g. bearings, seals, switches, motors, sensors, pumps, mixers)
Trouble shooting basic electrical volts 110 volts, 208 volts, and 460 3 phase & mechanical knowledge schematics.
Contribute and utilize the preventative maintenance program
Frequent movement around maintenance shop and factory to locate spare parts/equipment.
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Wearing of PPE will be required and must be worn when needed
Constantly able to maintain regular, punctual attendance
Constantly able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external suppliers/customers and to document maintenance activity results/findings for future analysis or trouble shooting.
Experience working in a factory/manufacturing environment
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical etc.
