Randstad is hiring a Production Manager who is able to communicate in Chinese Mandarin. Reporting directly to the head of Production, the Production Manager is a critical role managing all aspects of the mobile/computer device processing operation. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals, employee onboarding, scheduling and managing day to day activities of processing employees and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
-Analyze and project materials requirements based on short term forecast production plan and longer term strategic goals.
Monitor and deliver improvement plans based on Key Performance Indicators.
-Develop and execute continuous improvement action plans and drive ongoing improvement activities.
- Ensures positive staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Fully responsible for all aspects of the design and documentation of all processes ensuring operations is fully supported to meet the customer needs -Driving all the internal groups involved in the customer solution in order to ensure the accuracy and the conformity of the customer experience
-Ensure continuous and consistent improvement, quality, customer service in accordance with company policies/procedures
-Actively participate in customer complaint resolution process.
-Reduce product rework and improve product quality through vigorous employee training and quality feedback.
-Involvement and collaboration with management and staff as it relates to Quality/Process irregularities or production issues.
-Lead operation in continuous improvement activities to drive operational efficiencies, process improvement and cost reductions
Active role in the management team in all Health and Safety meetings and initiatives, including but not limited to involvement in safety information sessions, workplace audits, and recommendation on training.
-Foster an open door, positive working environment, maintaining a consistent schedule of value add production and Town Hall meetings.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Exceptional leadership, planning and organization skills
Results-orientated and the ability to motivate a team to perform at high levels
Ability to make informed decisions, prioritization and problem resolution.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Proficiency using Microsoft office applications and database management systems.
