Customer Service Specialist I

*This is a temp to permanent position
*This is a remote, work from home, inbound calls- Customer Service position*
*Bilingual preferred but not required*

- Under direct supervision, attends and actively participates in all scheduled foundation training courses; and completes all assigned classroom activities, exercises, discussions, and exams
- Complete all training required that is 14-18 weeks
- This is a temporary position estimated for 6 months

- Receives monitored inbound calls regarding products and services and navigates through computer systems and sub-systems as a part of on-the-job training and call coaching sessions; answers inquiries, resolves problems and promotes good customer relations by providing premier customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Provides thorough and accurate responses to policy-holder requests and inquiries using knowledge and skills acquired through Customer Service training; navigates computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, researching, and trouble shooting
- Maintains a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all policy-holder and other customer business confidential; follows Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, maintaining ethical behavior at all times
- Performs other related duties as required

Working hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

- Call center experience desired
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures
- Skill in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Skill in selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures when learning new policies, procedures, concepts or products
- Skill in managing one's own time and the time of others and actively looking for ways to help people
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
- Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office suite software

High School

Entry Level

- Must have Windows 10 laptop or desktop with working camera
- Must have high speed internet
- Must have a private and quiet place to work
- Must have experience in Customer Service
- Must enjoy helping others
- Show empathy and properly handle call according to situation
- Must be able to self manage your time

- Meet adherence requirements
- Provide excellent customer service on every call
- De-escalation skills
- Attend all required training
