Did you hope for a microscope for a birthday present as a kid? Do you love details? If so, you would make a great Quality Assurance (QA) Laboratory Technician. As a QA Laboratory Technician, you'll evaluate materials and products to make sure they are at the level of quality they should be.
You will spend your day doing laboratory work for a major chemical manufacurer. Must be able to rotate weekly between 1st shift and 2nd shift.
2 years of laboratory experience is required along with a minimum Associates Deree in a science-related field. You must have experience working in a chemical manufacturng environment. This position is direct hire and has a generous bonus package!
Conducting quality assurance tests using a variety of instruments and laboratory equipment.
Operating and maintaining the equipment will be part of your daily routine.
Follow all health and safety policies and procedures when conducting evaluations.
Document all of your test results for every inspection and test you conduct using a computer.
Basic mathematical and statistical formulas will come in handy when analyzing test results.
