We are currently hiring skilled assemblers for a large Medical Device manufacturer assembling lifesaving equipment used in hospitals all over the world! This position is located in Pawtucket RI directly on a bus line. Pay is competitive and there is room to grow within the organization. Benefits are available if needed. As an assembler, you will be performing electromechanical assembly—our best workers demonstrate attention to detail and organization. In addition, you will gather all necessary materials, and place them in the correct order using product guidelines. In this position, you will be measured by the quantity/efficiency of all products assembled. Responsibilities

Perform limited electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature. Assemblies and / or installs various electrical and / or mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening connections May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment Other duties as assigned Entry level, generally less than a year experience Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints, and / or wire lists Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers Must be familiar with general computer operation IPC Soldering Certification a plus QSR experience a plus Must be able to lift 35 pounds Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
