We are looking for Machinists to transform a rough product into something complete. You will enable a local manufacturer to produce products on-time and to the customer’s requirement.
Produces and leads machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine, maintain quality and safety standards
Plans Machining by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces and machining parameters, interpreting GD&T
Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points:setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. Calculating requirements, basic math, geometry and trigonometry
Verifiy settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time, etc.
Meet established standards for productivity and quality. Confers with supervisor when problems occur which impact expected levels of performance.
