Day Shift Assembly Technician - 1.5 year contract position

An Assembly Technician will be responsible for manual component assembly, material kitting, equipment operation, preparing kits for assembly, quality data collection, standard work creation, material/tool cart improvements, job improvements, continuous improvement projects.
What you do...
-Select proper materials from warehouse to complete standard work.
-Use designated inspection equipment.
-Perform minimal tool preventive maintenance.
-Record quality data.
How you can contribute...
-Identifying and implementing continuous improvement ideas.
-Assist in development of manufacturing procedures to create the most efficient processes
Working hours: 6 AM - 3 PM
What you need...
-Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools
-Excellent hand and eye coordination is needed.
Must be able to....
-Lift 5 - 20 lbs throughout the shift.
-Work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
-Must be willing to submit to a background check and credit check.
