Well-known manufacturing company in Lake Oswego, Oregon is currently looking for a qualified Materials Manager. This is a full time, 40+ hours/week position, paying $70,000-80,000/year depending on experience. The position comes with a great benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, short and long term life, and PTO. We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience who is a self-starter who is able to work under strict production expectations.

Responsibilities:
Position Summary

Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning
Effective Inventory Management and Control
Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimize customer service
Monitor forecasts to identify changes and to determine their effect on supply chain activities
Ownership of inventory accuracy and its associated system and processes to ensure that accuracy; including cycle and physical counting events and processes
Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for material inventory or finished goods
Supply Chain Management
Material Handling & Logistics
Master Scheduling

Education/Experience Requirements

A Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management or related field of study
Preferred APICS CPIM Certified
7-10 years of progressive experience with a combination of planning, logistics, production scheduling, procurement, and inventory control experience
3-5 years of direct management experience of supply chain or materials teams in an industrial manufacturing environment
Proficient computer skills, including MRP/ERP and Microsoft Office Suite

Working hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
