CHEMLINE TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for Chemline Support to join a team in Miramar.

Perform maintenance of support processes as directed and assigned in accordance with the applicable maintenance data to return components to airworthiness. Understand and follow PTI policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
??? Ensure that flight safety is our permanent essential concern.
??? Maintain communication with the Production Leaders.
??? Maintain a clean working environment.
??? Follow the work instructions and regulations.
??? Participate in team EHS, quality, lean audits and meetings.
??? Participate in flow walk presentations.
??? Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
??? Perform multiple support process operations of multiple required parts within the production cell using the following processes:
1. Chemical

Working hours: 2 PM - 1 AM

Skills:
--A high School diploma, GED or technical school.
--A minimum of 0-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (ex: painting, plasma spraying, aviation experience preferred).
--Ability to read, write, understand and communicate English.
--Basic Computer knowledge with ability to review online documents.
--Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic math skills.
--Use and selection of inspection, test and measurement instruments.
--Basic knowledge of machine operations.
--Basic verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
--Demonstrate ability to work with others in a team based environment.
--Flexibility to work first, second, third shift and weekends is required.
--Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate English.
--Basic Computer knowledge with ability to review online documents.
--Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic math skills.
--Basic verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
--Ability to interpret data including business metrics and technical information (ex Blueprint).
--Ability to retain procedures and work instructions from trainer.
--Working knowledge of lean principles.
--Basic knowledge with measuring tooling (micrometer, gages..) is required.
--Has experience, through training, knowledge, employment history or practical tests necessary to perform the scope of work assigned.
--Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned.
--Understand the methods, techniques and practices outlined in the manufacturer's maintenance documents, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, service letters, specifications, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
