- 90 Day Temp to Hire Conversion- You will work for Randstad up to 120 days before being hired direct by Johnson Controls. You must meet the attendance and performance guidelines to convert to full time hire.
- Pay: 1st Shift $11.50 Per Hour/ 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift $11.90 Per Hour
Operate any of the following equipment: fin press, expander press, and hairpin tubing press or to perform leak test, rework, or a variety of assembly operations.
Working hours: 6 AM - 6 AM
While performing job duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment is usually loud. The environment is non-climate controlled. It is very hot or very cold depending on the outside temperature.
--Be able to stand on your feet up to 12 hours per day.
--Be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
--Be able to bend, kneel, squat, and reach above your shoulders.
--Be able to grip and use vibrating hand tools.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
--Must attend and pass the Johnson Controls Manufacturing Training and Safety class.
--Must attend and pass the Johnson Controls Press Safety Class.
--In the past 2 years, you must have 6 months manufacturing/ industrial experience or 1 year in a fast paced, standing, hands on working environment averaging 30+ hours per week.
--Read and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions, handles material to and from work station and gets work station and equipment ready for production.
--Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Operations Method Sheets (OMS).
--Performs assembly work according to Operational Method Sheets (OMS) by hand and with fixtures and machines, performs operations such as drilling, screwing, and bolting necessary to assembly work, disassembles as required.
--Overtime is required to meet production demands and can include Saturdays and Sundays when necessary. Must have ability to work Monday - Sunday if required.
--Other duties may be assigned.
