We are currently looking for 2nd shift Maintenance mechanic with a background in manufacturing facility located out in the eastern part of Long Island. This position is a direct hire opportunity.
40 hours a week plus overtime
$30-35 an hour ( compensation based on experience)
-Provides maintenance resource to the entire plant.
-Utilizes equipment manuals, analytical skills and test equipment
-Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic knowledge and experience
-Disassembles and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic valves and cylinders.
-Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment
-Performs training and related job duties as assigned
-Maintains PLC setup and operation.
-Maintain work orders in automated software system
-Review, follow up, and track changeover schedules and efficiency
-Experience working on conveyor belts, bearings, gear boxes and production machinery
-Fabrication and Welding experience a plus
Working hours: 7 PM - 7 AM
-Must be able to troubleshoot production machinery
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role within an industrial environment
-Must have good math and analytical skills
-Ability to read blueprints and schematics
-High mechanical and Electrical aptitude
-PLC troubleshooting as well as programming
-Two professional references are required
