Maintenance Mechanic

We currently have a promising opportunity in the Anaheim area for a Maintenance Technician Lead role at a company that values employee development and growth. This is a first shift 6:00 am- 3:30 pm schedule, and starting pay rate is $23.00-$26.00/hr with plenty of room for upward growth!

Responsibilities:
JOB DUTIES

- Motivate and evaluate 2 members of maintenance staff
- Adhere to preventative maintenance compliance programs
- Implement strategies to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
- Coordinate activities, train and monitor maintenance staff
- Manage schedules and work with vendors
- Read and comprehend schematics and prints, component, machine design, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Continuously seek opportunity to improve systems and processes
- Maintain and control maintenance inventory
- Foster a safety-focused work environment and follow all standards (company, OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Coordinate specifications of material from outside vendors

Working hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS

--Technical degree or equivalent work experience
--Journeyman level Millwright
--5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
--Resin Application experience is a plus
--5+ years experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and associated interface systems
--EHS experience such as Hazmat and VOC management
--Proficiency working with CNC machines and related operations (mills, lathes, grinding and welding)
--Machine control electronics knowledge
--Thorough understanding of resin pump and application systems
--Familiar with 5s/Lean methodologies
--Solid working knowledge of CMMS programs and PLC's
--Able to work independently with minimal supervision
