-Ideal candidate will be working closely with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure orders are delivered as scheduled.
-Receive and unpack incoming packages from suppliers and verify contents against requisitions, purchase orders, invoices or other order forms.
-Verify all incoming material to ensure what is received corresponds to order, document any discrepancy.
-Prepare received material for stocking in stockroom shelves or other designated storage areas, including marking material with part numbers or identification labels and transferring materials into appropriate storage containers.
-Package units in retail packaging according to work orders and standardized work instructions.
-Accurately prepare shipping documents including all required customs forms for international shipments, packing slips, bills of lading, label, etc..
-Must be able to use Fishbowl ERP, UPS World ship and FedEx Power ship software for shipping items.
-Ship international orders according to ITAR and US Customs regulations.
-Clean and organize warehouse area as directed by management; may include mopping, sweeping, disassembly/reassembly of shelving, etc..
-Perform cross functional tasks as requested by management.
-Package orders with less than 5% reporting errors in packaging/shipping.
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.
-Ability or aptitude to learn to ship international licensed and unlicensed shipments in acoordance with ITAR and US customs regulations.
-Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.
-Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Ability to meet physical requirements inclusing: a variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 30-40 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders; usage of pallet jacks and forklift.
APICS/CPIM Certification, Experience with lean methodologies, Forklift certification, International License Shipping.
