Facilities and Maintenance Manager
Manages and directs a staff of employees in the maintenance of machinery, buildings and grounds. Assures the optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, fire/life safety, production machinery etc. Ensures efficient delivery of departmental services to clients. This individual will be responsible for establishing the maintenance of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Plans, schedules, and oversees corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building and grounds.
Keeps good records of inventories, drawings, and documentation.
Defines job expectations and performance goals with recruiting, managing and retaining supervisory and technical staff.
Determining and assign priorities to multiple projects, coordinates the departmental workload of employees who repair and maintain buildings/facilities. Oversees layout of equipment, office, and production facilities.
Works with the Environmental and Safety to formulate general safety policies and procedures.
Oversees the preparation of work instructions and pre-established guidelines for staff to perform the functions of their job.
Able to accurately estimate, develop, implement, and manage budgets for multiple departments within a manufacturing organization.
Work with and build relationships with outside suppliers and contractors.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Strong skills in reliability engineering and failure analysis.
Detailed knowledge and demonstrated skills in mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance.
Possess strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills with strict attention to detail.
At least 5 years??? experience working with HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical infrastructure.
Strong facility support and manufacturing background.
Hands-on knowledge and experience with Facility and Maintenance trades with a working knowledge of building and zoning codes.
Preferred experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment with focus on supervisory experience.
Knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC and Robotic Systems.
