Machine Operator Helper

Do you like making extra money by working overtime? A national leader in packaging solutions is looking for machine operator helpers to join their manufacturing facility in Norcross. This team works hard but in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Safety is always a priority so your first day on the job will include a through safety orientation.
Pay starts at $10.75/hr with overtime averaging an additional 10-15 hours a week!
Multiple Shifts available:
2nd shift - 3pm-11pm
3rd shift - 11pm -7am
All the shifts require one week of day training (7am-3pm)
As a Machine Operator Helper, you are responsible for all aspects of packing finished plastic bags from the bag line into cartons and prepares them for shipping. Additionally safely produce high quality bags in accordance with job safety analyses (JSAs), production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications, etc.
Your keen attention to detail will help you identify problems, troubleshoot and conduct preventative maintenance to keep machines running effectively and producing products that meet the highest quality standards. You will be on your feet throughout the shift, and will need to move swiftly to complete task in a timely manner, while always maintaining a focus on safety.
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Understand and follow job safety analyses (JSAs) and safety procedures/policies
Forms cartons and applies proper box label
Constantly inspects finished product before it is packed into carton and notifies bag line operator of quality issues
Weighs and numbers cases, fills out proper documentation
Stacks finished product on pallet evenly and correctly
Assists Converting operator in all roll changes
Checks all safety guards are in place and properly working at their station
Performs quality checks and completes related documentation
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Assist converting operator as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the United States
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
Ability to work 12 hour day and night rotating shifts
Work overtime as required
Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job without accommodation
