Clean Utilities Lead
Randstad is seeking a Clean Utilities Lead for our client, a biotechnology facility in Bradley, Illinois. This person will serve as primary contact and expert to expansion team and Critical Systems. Responsible for providing oversight and review of the design, installation, and implementation of the clean utility systems impacted by projects chartered by the Clean Utility/Critical Systems Department. This includes HVAC, Building Management Systems, purified water generation systems, pure steam, nitrogen, process alcohol, and compressed air. Ensure that all water/steam purification processes operate in compliance with cGMPs, the United States Pharmacopoeias and European Regulatory Agencies from an equipment and facilities layout design, and operational standpoint. Provides daily oversight on project status, providing reports and gap analysis to complete projects as defined by project schedules. Generates detailed turnover packages, standard operating procedures, and system maintenance requirements.

Works with System Owners, Validation, Change Management and HS&E, as needed, to assure proper system qualification strategies are in place and executed prior to system release.
Works with engineering staff and schedulers to assure that project milestones are accurately identified and met.
Utility expert on expansion Team that works closely with the Clean Utilities personnel, Critical Systems personnel and engineering consultants to properly size utility systems and equipment to support assigned projects
Responsible for the development of system specifications and user requirements to support proper design, procurement and installation of systems. Assures that new system designs are in accordance with relevant industry and site standards.
Creation of bid packages for clean utility system equipment, including but not limited to answering requests for information, prepare of requisitions and supports Purchasing through the procurement process.
Initiates and oversees the integration of new systems into existing site infrastructure to minimize downtime and assure efficient overall system operations.
Generates formal risk assessments, as necessary, to support key project decisions.
Responsible for monitoring the new clean utility construction to assure that installation is as designed and that all tagging and instrumentation identification is in accordance with industry and company standards.
Coordinates assigned project tasks with several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. In lieu of a degree experience in the industrial clean utilities field with extensive project management experience may be considered.
Minimum five years' experience working with clean utility systems.
Must have a thorough understanding of facility clean utility systems.
A minimum of five years executing projects from conception through qualification in technical areas for industrial operations - (preferably in the pharmaceutical, food or chemical industry)
