Quality Assurance / Control
We are currently looking for an experienced QC inspector for a healthtech company in Bothell, WA. This is a contract role and temp to hire position. In this role you would need to measure and inspect, materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications. First Article Inspection of production parts, product development parts and manufactured parts and assemblies.
Setup and operation of measurement tools including Smart Scope, Optical Comparator, CMM, Micrometer, Caliper and other measurement equipment.
Discuss inspection processes and results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Provide data of measured parts in organized form.
Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
Observe and monitor production parts and materials to ensure conformance to specifications
Level of Contribution & Ownership of Processes
Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems as a member of an engineering team.
Carries out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
Understands elements of FAI processes and how to apply them. Can suggest and drive improvements
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Identifies problems, generates alternatives and recommends solutions within defined processes.
Engineers review proposed solutions. Implements solutions with some guidance.
Receives general instructions on routine tasks, detailed instructions on new assignments. Often must work with limited supervision: exercising good judgment, accuracy and attention to detail.
Planning and Goal Setting:
Executes work plans developed by supervisor, usually contributing to multiple projects at any given time. May plan own task-level goals. Shows willingness and initiative to take on additional responsibilities. Completes tasks as assigned.
Technical Know How:
Basic knowledge and experience with technical requirements associated with areas of work. Applies basic technology principles, theories and concepts to specific tasks.
Knowledge of high precision measurement equipment and it use.
Minimum Education and Experience: 2-Year technical degree + 5 years of experience.
Good mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. Strong understanding of fundamental engineering and physical principles. Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving problems.
You must pass a criminal background check and drug screening to qualify for this position.
