Quality Control Technician
Provide constant and consistent quality control presence in the production areas. Operates under the supervision of the quality assurance manager.
??? Perform daily operational line checks using scale, calipers and thermometers.
??? Monitor quality attributes of manufactured items according to customer specifications.
??? Perform daily operational line checks using scale, thermometers and any other tools as necessary.
??? Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices in production.
??? Maintain finished product quality testing.
??? Manage all process controls for quality and food safety.
??? Provide technical support to fellow members of the company as needed.
??? Anything else deemed necessary by senior management in this area of operations.
??? In the absence of the QC Technician, the QA Coordinator or QA/QC Manager will be responsible to fulfill job duties in their absence.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
--Experience in a food service, processing, or distribution environment preferred
--Experience with Food safety, GMP's, quality troubleshooting and QA process improving skills preferred
--HACCP plan knowledgeable is preferred, formal HACCP training/certification helpful.
Days off are Friday Saturday
Sunday - Thursday work schedule

??? Able to stand, walk, stoop, and bent during the shift.
??? Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
